vSphere 5.1 versiyonu ile birlikte artık kullanıcıların vSphere Client yerine vSphere Web Client’ı kullanması öneriliyor. Bundan sonraki versiyonlarda Windows tabanlı client geliştirilmeyecek. Bu nedenle vSphere adminleri vSphere Web Client’ı kullanmaya ve alışmaya başladılar bile.
Aşağıdaki her iki client arasındaki özellik kıyaslaması yapılmış. Tabloda belirtilmeyen özellikler her iki client türünde de mevcut. Hala bazı yeteneklerinden dolayı vSphere Client’a ihtiyacımız var ama ileride tamamen end-of-life olması bekleniyor…
